The Story
To Geoff Weiser and Suji Meswani, a candle is not just a candle. Before Skeem’s 2004 launch, the husband-wife duo spent a year carefully developing a perfect formula and hunting down inspiration in exotic locales like India, Costa Rica, and Thailand. Using clean-burn, soy-paraffin blends, each candle set is thoughtfully designed for repurposing; silk-screened tumblers can be recycled as bohemian drinking glasses, while printed tins and matchboxes become decorative containers.
